Vulnerability Details

This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Computer Associates eTrust SCM. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists in the HTTP Gateway service icihttp.exe running on port 8080. When converting the contents of an FTP listing from raw text to HTML, an attacker can supply an overly long string which is unchecked during a stack data copy operation. Successful exploitation can lead to complete system compromise under the SYSTEM context.
