Alan Hampton
Quality Engineer
Alan Hampton is a Quality Engineer within the Digital Vaccine group at TippingPoint. He brings to the team a wealth of technical support and quality assurance experience gathered during his years of work with industry leaders including VISA, Unisys, GTE and TG. Alan has great reason to be proud of his accomplishments at these firms. During the years his contributions have been recognized with presentations of a Unisys Outstanding Achievement award, a VISA Night on the Town award, and a Certificate of Recognition from VISA CEO John Coghlan.
He fell in love with math and science at an early age, and received The National Merit, math and engineering scholarships to study engineering at the University of Texas (Hook 'em Horns!). His continuing education includes Software Quality Engineering courses in Systematic Software Testing and eBusiness Testing.
Alan enjoys life in Austin, and traces his Texas roots back generations to include some famous, and infamous, Texas characters.
